A 17-year-old football player Dylan Rich died of cardiac arrest

West Bridgford Colts football player Dylan Rich has died at the age of 17. This is reported by the BBC.

The athlete became ill during the match between the Colts and Boston United in the framework of the FA Youth Cup. Doctors helped Rich and tried to start his heart with a defibrillator. The football player was taken to the hospital, where he died soon after.

The presumed cause of death is cardiac arrest. The Football Association of England expressed their condolences to Richard’s family and friends.
