59 Xiaomi smartphones will receive Android 12 with MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 13

Last week we wrote that Redmi K30 Pro and POCO F2 Pro received a test assembly of the Android 12 operating system. In total, the Chinese company intends to update almost six dozen smartphones to the new OS version.

Android 12 will arrive on all models of the Xiaomi Mi 10, Xiaomi Mi 11, Redmi K30, Redmi K40, and Redmi Note 10 families. The release of the operating system for the global version of Redmi Note 9 remains in question, but all other ninth-generation smartphones will receive an update.

But from the eighth generation, the OS will be updated only on Redmi Note 8 (2021). The list also includes the foldable flagship Xiaomi Mi Mix Fold, Redmi 10X / 10X Pro, Redmi 9T / 9 Power, POCO M2 Pro, POCO M3/M3 Pro, POCO F3/F3 GT, POCO X2, POCO X3/X3 NFC/X3 GT. Note that this list is missing the recent new POCO X3 GT.

Along with the Redmi Note 9, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite is in limbo. The stable version of Android OS 12 will be released in early autumn, but with a high degree of probability, the update of Xiaomi smartphones may take more than a year.
