279 journalists were injured during the riots in the United States

During the riots in the United States, 279 journalists were injured, according to the portal U.S. Press Freedom Tracker. There were 180 attacks on media employees, 149 of them by the police. The portal also counted 67 cases of physical force, 23 cases of tear gas attacks, and 69 cases of rubber bullets and other projectiles. In 45 cases, media representatives were arrested.
The human rights organization reporters without borders condemned the attacks.
